  1. There are many thing that I love, but none can compare to what I love most, and that is life. I love the fact that I'm alive and that because of this life I can travel and learn. It makes me smile to know that everyday that I take a breath and that my heart still beats and I can see the happiness of others that I truly enjoy all that I have. Because I'm alive I can sing, read, dance, and write. Because while I'm alive I can love so fiercely that I can hurt so deeply. It is because I have life that I can understand the way others act and because I too go through what they do. Life is something that I love because it will continue to go on long after I have been taken by the unstoppable force know as death.

  2. One thing I would say I absoultly love is music. Music is something I cannot live without. Music just revolves itself into my life a way that is consistent when nothing else is. Like many people I listen to different music depending on my mood. That in a different perspective I could be falling apart mentally and listen to a certain song that speaks to me or has gotten me through a difficult time, and it would change my whole mood around. I love music to the point where it is my outlet to every emotion. For example, if I’m mad I listen to songs by the artists of Dizzy Wright, Drake, or Common Kings because those artist’s lyrics really speak out to me in a way of being hopeful. In contrast I listen to songs by YG when I’m hyper and want something to dance to.

  3. Last year 32 million people watched the League of Legends World Championship worldwide. Even though I don’t play League that much anymore, my love of League of Legends is kept alive by the competitions. The LCS premiered 2 years ago. The LCS is a competition of 8, soon to be 10, teams from North America. There is also a European LCS, and other regions have their own competition. Right now, the World Championship for League of Legends is happening, it’s when the best teams from each region face off against each other to crown the best team in the world. Whenever a big play is made, I love hearing the crowd roaring. International tournaments are my favorite because the Western (European and American) teams are always the underdogs. Whenever a Western team takes a game off of the Koreans/Chinese, I always get excited, and so does the crowd. (149 words)

  5. When the sun starts setting before the smell of my mother’s cooking and the birds are silent in mornings. The warmth has returned in my house. The sweet smell of crisp apple cinnamon wafts and lingers around the air. Bringing memories of the past that run around like the pitter patter of a child’s playing. The meals are hot and the hearth of the family brightens. The leafs that fall on the lawn brush the frosted grown and skip to a halt Intel the wind gives it a nudge to move again. The air is a clean refreshing feeling towards the lungs, pushing out the left over mug of summer. Of course these are just a few of the things I love about autumn. It brings my family closer than before and I could wish nothing more than that for my family.

  6. I love thunder storms. Not sure why really but when ever there is a thunder storm, I become calm, and tired. When I lived in NY we had thunder storms almost all the time, I would fall asleep to the thunder storm and some times play out side during the storm with my friends. I would fall asleep and try my best to stay awake just to hear the storm. I liked to count the seconds between the lighting strike and the thunder, my mother told me that the time between those two is the same number in miles the storm is away from us. I miss thunder storms so much, the last time we had a thunder storm in Juneau was last year, but it was very small and far away. I wish Juneau had more thunder storms, I would be very happy with that.

  7. The summer time; the time of freedom, the time of great weather, and the best time of the year. Summer is usually June to late August/ early September, which is also when school is out. With school out, students are free to be with friends in the hot weather, without having to worry about getting home in time to do any assigned homework. In the summer, I tend to have less responsibilities, so the summer time is care free and enjoyable.
In the summer we do not have to wear heavy jackets, or big clunky boots, we can wear short sleeves and flip flops. We do not have to worry about snow or ice on the roads, or having to shovel the driveway. Instead the roads are slick free and the driveways are snow free, which is much safer anyways.

  8. I love blog posts that consist of 149 words only. To me it is the perfect amount of words for a blog post anything over is imperfect, anything under is probably better, at least thats what I think. 149 word blog posts to me are the perfection of blog posts, outdating any, and all forms or kinds blogs. One can contain a plentiful amount of information regarding the topic of any certain blog. I believe all blogs posts should have only 149 words or less. I think if all blog posts had at most 149 words then maybe the students of this class would be willing to participate more in this assignment, and probably even enjoy posting their blogs, not really actually, I don't think the enthusiasm would change, but it would relieve some of the stress. I love 149 word blog posts and you should too.

    1. ...And you had 147 words. And it doesn't sound like you actually love the idea. You could've written about anything.
So I'll take this as sarcasm, but you do need to defend sarcasm otherwise it's not enjoyable for the reader, especially considering the prompt.
